TallyKhata
Turned the paper khata into an app shopkeepers trust: every entry sends the customer an SMS receipt.

Eight years of product design, from research to launch: a generative AI assistant that lifted engagement 18%, a ledger 5.35 million shopkeepers signed up for, and a wallet redesign that grew active users 230%.
Turned the paper khata into an app shopkeepers trust: every entry sends the customer an SMS receipt.
One wallet for every bank account: scan to pay, prove a bank with a small deposit, verify later.
Rebuilt a wallet for 20 million around speed, so the app finally beat the USSD code.
One tokenized design system for web and mobile, so teams stop rebuilding the same components.
End-to-end UX for a no-code AI platform: answers from data without writing code, from an assistant analysts can trust.
For me, product design starts with two questions: what is the user struggling with, and what is it costing the business? I work with product managers, engineers and data from day one, explore widely, validate early with real users and ship in small steps we can measure. Every release should move a number that matters.
User interviews, analytics and support tickets, until the real problem and its cost to the business are clear.
Narrow the findings to one problem worth solving, and agree the goal, metric and scope with product and engineering.
Explore several directions, prototype the strongest, test with real users and refine until it feels obvious and is buildable.
Tell the story with prototypes and data so the team can decide, then hand off clear specs and measure the impact after launch.
I design products for people who don't have time to learn them: shopkeepers settling the day's credit, customers paying from a bank app, analysts asking an AI for answers. Good design, to me, is when the next step feels obvious, however complex the system behind it.
Over eight years I've led product design from field research to launch: TallyKhata, the ledger 5.35 million shopkeepers signed up for, and a SureCash wallet redesign for 20 million customers at Progoti Systems. Most recently, at JustGo, I built and governed a tokenized design system across web and mobile. I also taught UX and research methods part-time at Shanto-Mariam University for five years, and mentor designers on ADPList.
Now based in Berlin and ready for a senior product design role, full-time or contract, on-site, hybrid or remote. I work in English and I'm learning German.

The best interfaces rarely get noticed. They just quietly get people where they meant to go.
