NoboPay is a flexible digital payment solution that facilitates connections between customers and merchants by integrating their bank accounts for effortless transactions.
Problem Statement
Managing finances across multiple bank accounts and payment methods is a recurring challenge for users, leading to inefficiencies and confusion in their financial activities. With over 82 million MFS users, 18 million cardholders, and 2 million internet banking customers in Bangladesh, the complexity of handling multiple accounts for efficient fund management and payments has become a significant obstacle.

The NoboPay delivers essential payment solutions for everyday needs. Its core features include:
Adding funds to the wallet effortlessly
Sending money instantly to other NoboPay users
Transferring wallet balances directly to bank accounts
Making secure payments to registered merchants
Performing mobile recharges with ease
These functionalities establish a strong MVP, providing users with an efficient and comprehensive platform for managing daily transactions.
Constraints
The micro-merchant market in Bangladesh is a vast untapped opportunity for new-generation digital solutions like TallyKhata. Here is a snapshot of the market size:

Lack of large sample
Due to high acquisition costs, early access was limited to 2,000 registered users to test market viability.

Integration Challenges
Integrating multi-payment solutions faces resistance from existing payment service providers, who fear customer loss and revenue decline.
No agent network
Robust agent networks are crucial for effective financial support systems. Without them, reaching diverse communities and delivering essential services becomes challenging.
Developed NoboPay’s visual framework by analyzing competitors and aligning with Apple HIG and Material Design for a trustworthy, recognizable experience.
Brand Colors: Bold blue-and-orange palette reflecting optimism and confidence.
Buttons: Translucent response buttons with 44px+ touch targets (Apple HIG standards) for clarity and accessibility.
Ideating & Wireframe
After an extensive and meticulous process and countless brainstorming sessions with the CEO, CTO, PR, and Dev teams, deep research, and strategic discussions. We finally reached a well-defined direction. With clarity and alignment across all stakeholders, we transitioned into the wireframing phase, transforming our insights and ideas into a structured foundation for the product’s design and user experience.

Redesigning Verification / How NoboPay Made KYC User-Friendly
NoboPay transformed strict Bangladesh Bank KYC rules into a smooth onboarding flow. By breaking verification into steps and adding smart reminders, we reduced drop-offs while staying fully compliant.








Home Screen / Usability & Cognitive Principles
To enhance NoboPay’s interface, I applied key cognitive principles like the Serial Position Effect (prioritizing key actions at the start/end of flows) and Miller’s Law (limiting options to 7±2). Paired with ample white space and Lean UX practices, this ensured a clutter-free, intuitive experience.



Usability Testing
Within six months of implementation, NoboPay's UX enhancements led to a 75% improvement in navigation efficiency, a speed of verification boosted by 40%, and a user registration increase of 45%. These optimizations significantly boosted user satisfaction and reduced friction in digital transactions.
